West Ham Target Somoza

According to the Spanish press West Ham have approached Real Betis’ on-loan midfielder Leandro Somoza regarding a January move. The Argentinian defensive midfielder has an Italian passport and is under contract with Villarreal, who loaned him to strugglers Betis in the summer.

Real Betis would not block the player’s departure in January as they do not plan to use their £3 million buy-out option.
