The Sun have reprinted the rumour that Bobby Zamora is off to QPR. This time however there is no mention of an initial one year loan. The Sun says QPR will pay West Ham £2.5 million for the striker.
I agree with the response from 2.50 pm. Given the injury history of our top 2 strikers,Ashton and Bellamy, this seems very risky. And the fee seems low compared to what might have been offer from another Premiership club. I personally rate Cole, and think he will get better ,and obviously Sears looks promising, but we are going to be very exposed if either of our starting strikers get injured again.
Perhaps the owner feels we can get away with using Dyer upfront, if either Bellamy or Ashton were to suffer injury again,I m not sure whether the 2.5 million warrants taking the risk. Unless money coming from the potential departure of Zamora ,and wages saved from Solano s exit, is to be used to buy a striker in the transfer window.

Damn! Let's hope this is really just another Norwegian blue parrot. It just seems too risky to do something like this.
