West Ham to Sign Givet

The Daily Mail say West Ham are closing in on a £1.75m deal for Marseille central defender Gael Givet. The paper give this an 'insider rating' of 5/5 which translates as a 'done deal'. However this is The Daily Mail and why would West Ham be 'closing in' on a 'done deal'. Surely it is either a done deal or it isn't.

The last I heard was that Givet was in the process of discussing personal terms with Panathanaikos. So unless those discussions have broken down or West Ham have gazumped the Greek club I think it is more likely to be The Mail's usual 2/5 for accuracy.
