West Ham Still io for Appiah
The Sun (and various other sources) say that West Ham still have a chance to sign Steven Appiah. Appiah is a free agent so can still move clubs. However one reason Appiah refused to move until after the transfer window seems to have been to raise his market value. Appiah will presumably now demand a very high wage, which could therefore rule West Ham out of any deal.

yer i mean if he demands more than 5 pounds a week it's out of our price range. soo disgraced with curbs getting rid of only left back we have and sign no one its very dissapointing. curbs out bilic in!!!!!! and get rid of these icelandic sh**s!!!
curbs not to blame! the board are selling the players! its to pay for mr guds huge banking losses ! he should sell up & f*ck off back to iceland !!!

Curbs didn't want to McCartney to go, but the board accepted sunderland's offer.

As usual West Ham cannot do anything normally when it comes to transfers. Perhaps they forgot the window closed!!!
Appiah is going to Gunners and will have medical on thursday.
