CAS Give West Ham Preliminary Hearing

CAS have apparently agreed to give West Ham a preliminary hearing to decide whether they will hear the appeal in full.

Yesterday it was reported that Sheffield United had until Friday to explain in writing why they felt the matter shouldn't go to arbitration. However it appears that CAS have gone even further than this and told Sheffield Utd that there will be a preliminary hearing and that they have until Friday to provide an arbitrator. If they fail to provide one for the preliminary hearing, CAS will appoint one on their behalf.

West Ham have already appointed an arbitrator and submitted a 12-page legal document to CAS which argues that they haven't had the chance of appeal.
