James Collins Arrested

James Collins was 'wrongfully arrested' Tuesday night outside a London nightclub. Collins was handcuffed by the police after an incident outside the Funky Buddha in Mayfair.

Collins claimed he was simply passing the popular club after a meal at Nobu with his wife. He was subsequently 'de-arrested'.

It seems West Ham are convinced that Collins is telling the truth,

"We have received a full explanation from the player of the events of Tuesday evening. We accept the explanation he has given," said a West Ham spokesperson.
