Judge Needs a Month to Decide

The judge hearing Sheffield Utd's injunction appeal has come to a decision. The decision is he will have to think about it for a month.

Mr Justice Teare said he would need to consider the evidence before reaching a judgement "at some point before Christmas".

God only knows how this will affect the FA tribunal in its coming to a decision on how much compensation West Ham will have to pay or how it will affect CAS in its decision as to whether to hear West Ham's appeal.

To avoid any confusion here is my definitive guide to the present situation:

The FA Tribunal will not make up its mind about compensation until CAS makes up its mind, CAS will not make up its mind until Mr Justice Teare makes up his mind and Mr Teare will not make up his mind until he has bought all his Christmas presents.
