West Ham 1 Everton 3

In what is becoming a familiar pattern, West Ham dominated the possession during the first half, without being able to convert their chances.

For the first 20 minutes West Ham were restricted to a number of long shots. In the 28th minute however, after a good run by Sears down the left wing, the ball worked its way to Bellamy on the edge of the area but his half-volley flew over the bar.

Two minutes after that Bellamy dummied Yobo, ran around the defender, collected the ball and pulled it back for Sears. Sears' rasping effort from 8 yards was tipped by Howard onto the crossbar and over. In the 42nd minute Boa Morte made a good run across the penalty area before putting Sears clear. Sears was 6 yards out, left of the goal but his low effort missed wide of the left hand post.

In the second half West Ham were again made to pay for not taking their chances. Before Everton's two goals West Ham were in command and asctually took the lead from a brilliant Collinson goal. West Ham broke quickly down the left wing. The ball was chipped into the box where Parker ran onto the ball and deftly backed heel the ball into the path of Collinson. Collinson then placed the ball into the top right of the net from eight yards out to the left of the goal.

Everton then began to create pressure on the West Ham goal for the first time in the game. The game was calling out for Mullins to be brough on for Sears to shore up the midfield but the management decided not ot change anything.

So in the 82nd minute Saha crossed the ball into the box and Lescott headed home unchallenged from 6 yards. In the 84th minute Saha scored with a shot from inside the box that was deflected into the bottom left corner of the goal.

Thenb int eh 87th minute West Ham gave the ball away in defence and Saha scored Everton's third from 30 yards.

Don't panic though. West Ham's squad is so big that we will have to sell players in January. So that's all right then.

whats the point in having all that possesion then when we get to the last third of the pitch the players are clueless. we have no height and no one who has that killer ball.

I agree - we need to spend £10 million on a good striker in January and we will probably be all right.

Unfortunately the board will sell.

sorry to bother you, but what is a "sat nav"?

it's ok to be upset with the recent set of games WHU has lost. however, i think it would be a mistake to write the team off so soon. the manager is new and needs time to put forth the best team he can. furthermore, the injuries can't possibly help the team's position at this time.

patience is a virtue!!!!!!!

Your right, theres no need to panic. On the other had, I do believe we have a manager in charge who has absolutely no idea what he's doing. Hmmm. I think we're going down.... again. And do you know what, we wont come back up.

i think we have the right manager but we need a leader on the pitch niel isnt a leader. feubert isnt a right back. He plays much better right mid gives the ball away to easy in defence cost us both evertons goals.

i understand the comments that we have not take our vchances which is correct. Di Michelle is being given less of a chance despite some good bits. Cole will soon be back and Ashton is needed clearly. Sears will only get better too.

Noble is also dearly missed.

Irrespective of any of this. We were one nil up and collapased. It is a disgrace how we defended in the last 10 minutes. Everton are Kak, and did not deserve the win but we gave it to them. Its stupid.

Sorry not read anything to stop me thinking it is time to panic, its all very well saying this player will get better etc etc, but as a west ham fan for more years then i care to remember we all know what that means. In come the clubs with the money and goodbye.
I agree with you guys who say we are going down, we don't have the fire power up front and can you rally see the board coming up with the cash????
no neither can i

I think things can only get better considering the state of affairs this month - does anyone think things might possibly change soon ?
