Bellamy Keen to Leave West Ham

The Guardian today are featuring an article on West Ham in which they claim to have spoken to an executive close to Bjorgolfur Gudmundsson.

The executive says that West Ham might not be sold,

"We don't need to sell the club – other alternatives in liaison with our banks can be examined about how else to proceed if we need to. We could hold out for a year or two years. It is important to know we do not need to sell."

Which probably means that he does need to sell but doesn't want to accept just any offer.

The executive also said that the club are also keen to keep hold of Upson, Parker and Bellamy, "though the club accept that Bellamy is the most likely of the trio to leave as he is keen to depart."
