West Ham Almost Sold Collison

The Daily Mirror seems to be the only newspaper to be reporting on West Ham this week. Today they report that West Ham almost sold Jack Collison to Peterborough for just £300,000 in the summer.

Collison has since become a first team regular and Gianfranco Zola thinks he will only get better as a player,

"Jack has been a real surprise for me - not just because of his qualities but also his personality. He will be a very important player in this country and for West Ham for a long time."
