Stoke Not in Talks With West Ham Shocker
OK, mea culpa, I got sucked in by Sky Sports News there.
Peter Coates, the Stoke City chairman, has now apparently explained that he never told Sky Sports News that Stoke were in talks with West Ham, merely that they have made enquiries about the player.

pure genius, that guy. paid the top of the market for an inflated piece of rubbish. and got told off by various sporting authorities and media organizations . moron extraordinaire
I hope we dont sell ashton....He is a quality striker and IF he stays fit he will score at least 15 a season......However if some reports are correct and stoke may pay up to £10m for him.......then that could sway me. However lets just wait and see if any of this "media hype" is correct. (turtle man)
