Fortune's Always Hiding

The Telegraph claim that West Ham face competition from Portsmouth in trying to sign Marc-Antoine Fortune. The Herald seem to think West Ham have more than just Portsmouth to worry about. They say that Celtic, Hull, West Ham and Fulham will learn on Tuesday who has won the race to sign the £3.8m Nancy striker.

The Times says the Hammers have been offered Bergougnoux, the Toulouse midfield player who has been the subject of an offer from Kayserispor, of Turkey.

never seen him play before, if we want to finish top 6 next season we should be looking for a striker who will score at least 20 goals a season.

west ham last season was playing great football and creating lots chances... i remember carlton cole having at least 20 clear cut chances, including loads of one on one's with the keeper. but he missed most of them.

cole needs a goal scorer playing with him.
