Toni Not Coming, Collins Staying

The newspapers have for weeks been quoting the name 'Jose Alberti' who they have been claiming is Luca Toni's agent. They have repeatedly quoted 'Alberti' as saying the player wants to play for Gianfranco Zola at West Ham.

I've been pointing out since the story started that Luca's agent is Tullio Tinti and not Jose Alberti. The press have finally woken up to the this and, rather than apologise for misleading their readers, are now trying to create a story out of Tullio Tinti's outrage at someone pretending to be Toni's agent.

As Tinti has been saying all along Toni has no intention of leaving Bayern Munich and the papers have no intention of letting the facts get in the way of a good story.

On which note the newspapers today are claiming that James Collins walked out on Stoke yesterday after failing to agree personal terms.
