Pardew to Return as West Ham Manager?

Various reports claim that Aston Villa are targeting Carlton Cole as a replacement for John Carew, who the club are resigned to losing to Fulham.

The Daily Express say that West Ham have two shortlists for replacing manager Gianfranco Zola. They claim Steve McClaren heads the list of replacements if West Ham avoid relegation. However if the club don't escape the drop they will be turning to ex-West Ham manager Alan Pardew.

The paper say that Slaven Bilic and Mark Hughes are also on the club’s radar.

WOULD RATHER HAVE PARDEW THAN MCLAREN

Thought Mclaren got a rough time of it over the england job. His formation & tactics wherethere to be seen against Croatia but he was let down by very average & overated players. The reason we had it easier this time is because croatia are finished, not England anygood.

Agree with hammertime. I would rather have Pards to McClaren.

me too. Pards all the way. Was sad to see him go....what i am unsure of, is how we could afford to sack Zola and Clarke and pay them off, even if we wanted to. Maybe we should stick with them. he will have learnt loads this season, why train him up and watch him go elsewhere?

Zo*a's GOT to go. We have gone further backwards under him than even under rodent! he's supposed to make us play exciting football. Worse I've seen in many a year & lets face it, he's taken a team that surely has the players to finish 10th+ but are now the 4th wosre team in the league (thankfully there are 3 wosre, but i don't thinks there are 3 worse managers!)
