Iron's Face Unfair Dismissal Claim, Or Not

The Sunday Express claim that "West Ham are heading for a new £10million-plus crisis." They claim that is the bill the club could face if Zola and Clarke successfully sue for unfair dismissal.

However the Sunday Mail completely disagrees. The Mail say Curbishley won compensation from West Ham because the club sold players against his wishes.

The Mail claim that Zola has no such protection in his head coach's contract and so would be hard pressed to claim unfair dismissal.

Oh I didn't know that GFZ or Clarke had been sacked and were suing for unfair dismissal. Guess it was a quiet day on the football front for the hacks at the Sexpress. I suspect that we will have this kind of story until either GFZ walks or Gollivan confirm they are staying. Personally, my fear of a Curbishly mk 2 or even the original model himself means I hope its the latter
