West Ham Awaiting Clearance on Jacobsen

Transfer deadline day was not a complete failure for West Ham. In fact the club did agree to sign Lars Jacobsen. The deal seems to involve the full-back signing from Blackburn Rovers on a permanent deal but for no money.

The transfer is still awaiting Premier League clearance as checks are being made to ensure the relevant paperwork was submitted before the 6pm transfer deadline.

Jacobsen has previously failed to break into the first team at Blackburn and Everton, although to be fair he was injured for most of his time at Everton.

yep! agree with that, but i think if most of us are honest we have known for a long time that we are in a different league to sp**s and thats a fact!!. i have been a fan for 46 years once upon a time i used to look forward to the new season we always had a chance to do well in a cup, in the 80's we came as close to winning the league as we will ever come, used to be a season ticket holder but gave that up 5 years ago, mates get me a ticket now on the few times i go now. i just feel with the way football is now the fun has gone out of the game. long season!! oh yes sadly from what i have seen so far it could be curtains unless something changes very very soon i hope i am wrong.
