Diamanti Sold
West Ham have confirmed that Alessandro Diamanti has been sold to Serie A newcomers Brescia Calcio for €2.2m. Apparently West Ham will receive another €300,000 should Brescia secure their Serie A status this season.
The West Ham website says that the club "could unveil more exciting new faces before the transfer window shuts a week today".

This tells u all u need to know about how bad the "director of football" Nani was ,and how stupid the Icelanpricks were. We paid 5.5 million for a guy who did not even play in Serie A at teh time. What do we get back for him? 2 million. No wonder the club are 90 million in debt. We're lucky to have gotten 2 million. Funny how nobody in teh Premier League saw value in Diamanti. Because he'e lazy.
Good riddance. Take your goals and stick them up your prostate ,you lazy sack- mugs like you have caused teh club to be in teh position it is in. Because you don't know how to defend .

are you mad? he was our only creative player? last night proved we how much we need him! yes he was lazy at times, but he was unpredictable and very talented. he was west hams 2nd top goal scorer, and if it wasnt for him at times, we would not be in the premier league this year!
But no go and blame the few players that actually tried! and to say he was crap is just stupid to be honest. And especially as he was NEVER played in the position he is meant to be played! ie as a roaming player, behind the fromt two/one.
and as for no decent teams wanted him, AC milan, Florentina and Inter all enquired about him, and both West ham and Diamanti said no.
Guarentee he will bang in a fair few goals for Brescia this season and good luck to him.
And to blame anyone for selling him so cheeply, only Golivan are to blame. He was worth more than 2million. much more. Stanmur ruin the club, and Golivan are just ruining it even further. I had alot of time of them, but over the summer they have just talked bollocks, bollocks and more bollocks. They selling off everything to do with West Ham, just to line their pockets. Im glad to say i never renewed my season ticket this year.

I thought that Diamante was the one bright spark from Zola's buys.

Disappointed to see him go, honestly. All this hunting for a new striker, and we've got Diamanti sat there twiddling his thumbs when he can play a great role just off Carlton Cole.
Get rid of them all there all lazy and rubbish.What we need is for someone rich to buy the club and have good players and win matches for a change.
i agree...its a shame to see him go. would have been nice to see him (behind cole) and barrera together on the ball :o) C'MON YOU IRONS!!
