West Ham After Gerrard and Gameiro
Sky Sports 'understands' that West Ham are considering a bid to sign Cardiff City defender Anthony Gerrard.
The Sun claim West Ham have made an £8million bid for Lorient hitman Kevin Gameiro. The paper say that Lorient have turned down the bid. Gameiro, 23, scored 17 league goals last season.
The Mail say Sunderland are interested in Carlton Cole.
The Mirror claim that Italian side Fiorentina are lining up a move for Valon Behrami.
Most of the papers are also reporting on Diamanti's supposed move to Brescia. This rumour might actually be true.

i like Kevin Gameiro personally. If we was apparantly prepared to pay 11 million for Remy, then we should pay 11 million for Gameiro, who in my eyes, is as good if not better than Remy. And personally, would partner cole very well up front. With Piquionne, sears and stansalis (when fit) as impact subs, the fowards look a little more impressive. just need to sort out our defence now...........

not a bad midfiled and forwards, but to me, the defence very very unstable...... Who would you add to improve the defence? Luke Young?
Agree- evrything hinges on the lack of a solid defence at the moment. No point in having a goal scorer if we leak goals every weak. Young wud be a decent addition
