Grant Hits Out

The Telegraph quote Avram Grant today claiming that someone inside West Ham is trying to undermine him. This seems to be a thinly veiled attack against Karen Brady. I wonder who will win that battle?

"When the rumours are coming from inside the club it doesn’t create much stability. This is the main problem, we need to create stability. Of course I know where the rumours come from and I know there’s people trying to hurt the club.

"Rumours are part of the job but people need to understand more what we are dealing with this season. All the things I have to say to the people at the club, I say to them directly.

"If you don’t have stability, you can’t do your job the same. A club should be like a family.

This is further evidence that Grant shud have gone already- if he and Brady are odds, and if their differences are made public ,it's obviously an unhealthy situation for the club, which cannot be allowed to fester. And if someone has to go ,obviously it's not going to be Brady.

What has been gained by delaying Grant's departure? Absolutely nothing.
