West Ham Chase Alan Smith
The Daily Mail say West Ham are interested in taking Newcastle's Alan Smith on loan.
The Mail say West Ham are also looking at Chelsea youngster Josh McEachran, who is also wanted by Swansea.

Why Alan smith? Not a bad player when not injured! And you just know as a west ham fan as soon as he signs he'll get injured! Why are we looking at a Chelsea youngster when we got our own? Paper talk is a load of crap!
the 1st thing that popped into my head when i heard about alan smith was kiern dyer if there considering anything more than a short term loan it could turn out to be a huge mistake especially given our luck with injuries! bentley and lansbury both gettin injured is a huge blow and i think big sam may take the risk. ive been very impressed with papa bouba diop so far looks a commanding precense in cm
