Harewood Wants to Stay

Marlon Harewood has emphatically denied gossip that he wants to leave West Ham, “You take all the transfer speculation as a big compliment. But Alan Pardew brought me here and made me the player I am. I want to give back what he gave to me. It’s good to have so much competition in the squad. I don’t see it as a threat.It makes you want to go out and improve.”

Alan Pardew said: “The strikers know that in some games I will pick two and in others it might only be one. None of them want to leave and that’s the key.”
