West Ham Loan Blanco

Hot on the heels of the signing of Lucas Neill West Ham have announced the loan signing of Kepa Blanco from Sevilla. The deal will see Blanco on loan for the rest of the season with an exclusive option to complete a permanent transfer in the summer.

Blanco, an under-21 Spanish International, has scored 3 times in 5 appearances in The Liga and 3 times in 3 appearances in the UEFA Cup this season. However the forward has had few opportunities recently because of the good form of ex-West Ham player Frédéric Kanouté.

Looking at Kepa's goals below he looks to be a goal poacher and exceptionally good in the air. In fact if the video is a true representation about 90% of his goals are headers so we just need to sign a decent crosser of the ball now.

He looks sharp, keen, aggressive and brave in front of goal and his movement losing defenders and creating space for himself make him look like just the kind of player we need. lets just hope he doesn't take to long to settle.
