Gerrard Saves McClaren's Job

With the England fans singing for McClaren's head after just twenty minutes its hard to see how McClaren can survive as England manager. However Gerrard's second-half performance may well have temporarily saved his job.

After the game McClaren claimed qualification is still in the team's hands. If his tactical naivety wasn't bad enough we now find he can't even read a table. England need to beat Russia and Croatia both above us, and hope they lose their games in hand.
