West Ham Respond to Charges

West Ham have met the Premier League's deadline of two weeks to respond to fielding ineligible players with a dossier that the club says forms a 'robust defence'. Club officials and lawyers have spent the full 14 days permitted to compile their detailed response and West Ham believe that they will escape the charges unpunished.

However having charged West Ham the Premiership obviously feel the club broke League rules so it is unlikely West Ham will escape scot-free.
