Bellamy Dismisses Kapo Clash
Craig Bellamy has played down talk of a bust up between Kapo and himself after West Ham's game on Saturday,
"The stick you get is part and parcel of the game. If I'd let it get to me I'd have been out of this game years ago. I'd have been washed up. What happened with Kapo is just part of the game. I'm not going to blame anyone.
"They're showing passion, the same as I am. There's nothing wrong in that. In fact, it gives me more respect for them. As for the penalty, I don't even need to get into that.
"The decision was made correctly. Look at the replays and you'll see for yourself. The linesman was right there. If he had been on the other side it might not have been so clear-cut but he had a perfect view."
Noble Effort
Alan Curbishley has revealed that he had a talk with Mark Noble after West Ham's opening game of the season,
"Like a lot of our players he was flat last week. So we sat him down and showed him the film of what he did well when he played so brilliantly at the back-end of last season and then what he didn't do on the opening day against Manchester City.
"He came out determined to put that right today and it was a good performance."
