West Ham in the Sunday Papers

The People claim that West Ham are ready to revive there interest in Ghanaian Stephen Appiah. Curbishley failed to prise the midfielder away from Fenerbache in July but sources in Turkey say the 26 year old would now be available for a fee of around £5millon.

The Sunday Mirror say West Ham are interested in Tugay. They say West Ham are set to move for Rovers veteran Turkish star Tugay as Curbs believes the 37 year old midfielder will add more experience to his team.

The Sunday Telegraph say Eggert Magnusson is prepared to take legal action against Sheffield United. The paper back up this claim with quotes from a two week old West Ham statement in response to The Blades taking West Ham to an FA tribunal.
