West Ham News Round-Up

Danny Gabbidon has hit back at Welsh critics of his performance on Saturday, "Nobody can say I don't care. I have shown every time that I try to give 100%."

Rumours, emanating from the always unreliable West Ham Fans, say West Ham will be appointing a technical director. The suggestion that it will be Guus Hiddink is ridiculous as he has always claimed that he wants to honour his contract with Russia until 2008 (and it appears he has already turned down the England and Chelsea jobs).

Carlos Tevez's brother Miguel Tevez, 17, is on a two week trial at Man Utd. I think he also had a trial for West Ham last season.

Former West Ham defender Slaven Bilic could see his Croatia side qualify for next summer's finals in Austria and Switzerland if England beat Russia tomorrow night. Bilic is another name that West Ham Fans have been throwing around for the so called position of technical director at West Ham. Again the rumour seems very unlikely. Having nearly qualified for Euro 2008 you would assume he would want to manage his country at the finals.
