Collins Awaiting Scan Results

James Collins has undergone a scan for possible ligament damage on his injured knee. The injury, sustained in last night's reserve game, is the latest of a line of injuries Collins has suffered this year. The injuries are obviously getting the West Ham defender down.

"At the end of last season I was playing the best football of my career," he said in November. "Now I keep getting niggly injuries that have constantly kept me out for weeks at a time.

"I just can't get myself into a run of games."
