West Ham Transfer Targets

Despite West Ham clearly stating that they are not in the buying market this transfer window the newspapers continue to speculate.

The Mirror say Alan Curbishley is trying to but Nicky Shorey, El Hadji Diouf and David Nugent. They claim that are trying to tempt Reading "with a player-plus-cash deal involving Upton Park out-of-favour striker Zamora. But West Ham are demanding £5million for Zamora with a £1m cash adjustment for Shorey."

The paper claim West Ham have already had a bid for Marseille's Djibril Cisse knocked back.

The Daily Mail claim that West Ham are interested in signing the former Liverpool striker on loan as cover until the rest of the season.
