Boa Morte Hits out at West Ham Boo Boys
Luis Boa Morte has hit back at the West Ham fans who were booed his below par performance on Wednesday,
"The supporters were booing, but I don't know why," he said. "If they feel I did not work hard enough, we're probably not watching the same game. Things have not been going my way. I just have to dig in and keep working hard because I know the goals will come."
I think Boa Morte has a point. He is admitting that his form has dipped but that the fans can't fault his work rate.

What work rate would that be then ?
two questions for "hook end hammer": do you believe that booing a player will improve/enhance their performance?
second, do you believe it will make them love the club, be loyal and give the very best performance they can achieve?
well stated greendress. booing the player will achieve one thing only, which is to ensure that the player underperforms in the future.
clearly ,boa morte did not have one of his better games against liverpool, but booing him is not the answer. also, people are quick to forget that although he missed what may have seemed easy chances,at least he got into scoring position in the first place
regarding workrate, i think that the player s workrate in recent months has been good, and greatly improved from when he first joined. having said that , i think his work rate against liverpool was below par, and i think that had something to do with the negative reaction of supporters ,not just the fact that he should have scored ,and did not. even taking into account the question of workrate, there is still no excuse for the booing. the booing plays right into the opposition s hands ,and it will not bring out the best in boa morte in the future. one of the reasons ,in my view, that reo-coker left ,was booing and negativity from the crowd,so i think this is something supporters need to be careful with.
