Upson Named in England Squad
Matthew Upson has been named in the England squad for the friendly with France in Paris on 26 March.
Mark Noble, who was left out of the Under 21 squad - leading to rumours he might be in line for a call up to the senior team, has not been named in the squad. Green has also been left out again.

Even if in recent matches , he s come off the bench rather than start ,it strikes me as a bit harsh for noble to be omitted from the under 21 s.
There were a few regulars left out. The official line seems to be that this friendly gives them a chance to blood some other players.
Looking at who has been left out I think this is probably true and that Noble will be in the next squad.
i hope you are right. it was just brought to my attention that lennon was left out of both the senior(which doesn t surprise me) and the under 21 s ,so that supports what u are saying.
it ll be interesting to see if this leads to noble stepping it up a notch in the run-in ,because i d imagine he s not too pleased with what s happened, regardless of the explanation.
