Ashton Keen to Stay at West Ham

With rumours of a possible £15 million bid for Dean Ashton from the small club in north London West Ham have issued a statement about Friday's talks with Dean Ashton. Whilst nothing has been signed the club are quick to point out that talks are on-going and both sides are eager to come to terms,

"We had a very productive meeting. Dean wants to stay and we want him to stay. We are committed to finding agreement on a new long-term contract," said West Ham United Chief Executive Scott Duxbury.

A second meeting between the club and Ashton's representatives is scheduled for the week after next.

I see a deal with West Ham's top striker going to Spurs. I also see that in a past life I was the Green Goblin and wrecked havoc all over New York City. If Gabriel Heinze can't go to Liverpool, then I'm saying Ashton can't go to Spurs.

rumours, rumours and damned lies. but hey, everybody loves hot ,naked gossip -especially when the months are so slow that you notice sweat glistens on your head. soon they ,ll be confirming this stuff via social networking sites.

i myself will reject it ,until i see it on bebo.
