No Bilic for West Ham or City
Reports in the Croatian press say that ex-West Ham defender (and the man linked to every managerial position in the Premier League) Slaven Bilic will sign a new contract next week with the Croatian FA.
Croatian federation spokesman Davor Gavran said the new two-year contract will be signed on Monday. "It's a done deal," Gavran said on Wednesday.
However having publicly stated that he wants to remain Croatia's manager and extending his contract for two years isn't enough for the English press. Some of the papers are already suggesting that the Croatian FA are only extending Bilic's deal so that they will get a bigger compensation payout when he becomes a manager in the Premier League.
