Spurs in For Ferdinand

According to The Sun T#ottenham have offered £6 million for West Ham's Anton Ferdinand. They claim that under Jol Sp#rs had a £4 million bid rejected.

The Sun mentions that Curbishley has been told to trim his squad and with six centre backs, including the emerging Tomkins, he may be tempted to sell.

This summer looks set to be a test of the new owners. Have things really changed at West Ham or are we still a club that sells our best young talent?

it's all probably just a nasty rumor circulated through bebo. no, all jokes aside, this owner is a business man. hopefully he is not into asset stripping.

dublin has it rite on. selling off talent is a sure fire wya to turn WHU into a money-losing enterprise, not the money spinner the owner wants.

this owner has no hope in hell if he makes the mistake of previous owners in selling off young talent. more likely is that gabbidon or collins goes, tho not to spurs.

With Nani coming in, I think the intention is to move the team in a younger direction where they can spend small and get more for their money. Developing a bunch of young, international talent would be more cost effective to a team looking to move and build a new stadium. The rumor mill has been ripe with young kids, and I can't help but think that there's a reason for that.
