West Ham's Ashton Talks Drag On
West Ham say they have held another "very positive" meeting with Dean Ashton's representatives. No agreement seems to have been reached yet but the club say they hope "to conclude a new long-term contract for Dean Ashton next week."
I wonder how much a hat-trick tonight for England will add to his demands?

True - I wonder how another broken ankle will affect his salary negotiations. Perhaps he should have signed yesterday :)
