West Ham Monday Rumours
Sportingo claim that West Ham have had a £1.5m bid for Ipswich attacker Danny Haynes turned down. The sight also claims that West Ham are interested in signing Brazilian front man Fred but will be beaten to his signature by Sp#rs.
Various sources are still linking West Ham with Everton's Andy Johnson. The fact that Johnson is valued at £9 million and Curbishley looks set to partner Ashton and Bellamy up front suggests that this is little more than rumour. I don't think West Ham are prepared to spend that asmount of money on a back up striker and Johnson wouldn't move to become a back up for yet another team.

Agree- these sound like desperate attempts to fill newspaper space, which will become even more desperate once euro 2008 ends.
Still feel we need to get thru this last bit of Sheffield Disunited rubbish,before we see WHU show any real intent in the market. Perhaps in some ways it s not a bad thing that the club has not been in a rush ,and not signed just anybody for the sake of it. On top of this tribunal, maybe we also have to see one high profile player offloaded ,before we see Curbishley being given the chance to bring a truly worthwhile player in.
