West Ham Close to Selling Boa Morte

Hull City manager Phil Brown has said he is hopeful of completing the signing of Luis Boa Morte by the end of the week. The BBC are saying that a fee has been agreed with West Ham for Boa Morte.

The sale of Boa Morte will leave West Ham without a recognised left midfielder.

The Daily Mail have a headline that says "Sp#rs and Hammers Battle for Bellamy". However considering that Craig Bellamy is already a West Ham player it looks like The Mail has just made another of its daily errors. The article then goes on to talk about Man City and Sp#rs bidding for Bellamy so I think you can see what their headline should have read.

Anyway the article says that West Ham have rejected a bid from City for Bellamy of £9.5m but the deal "should be wrapped up soon for around £10m". That's right The Mail believe West Ham are holding out for £0.5 million. Muppets
