West Ham Transfer Rumours

The Daily Mirror claim that Matthew Upson has said he will only quit West Ham for a Champions League club. Which they say clears a way for a possible move to Arsenal. However it is quite surprising that the Mirror don't actually have any direct quotes. If Upson did say this why not quote him?

Elsewhere most of the papers claim that the departures of Etherington and Davenport will be concluded today.

The Times claim West Ham are going to make a double swoop on Series B, signing 17 year old midfielder Bartosz Salamon for 1.5 million Euros and young striker, Savio Nsereko.
