Upson in Demand

The Daily Mirror are reporting that Arsenal are keen on signing West Ham defender Matthew Upson.

It has been widely reported this week that Upson is keen to play for a team involved in European competition and that West Ham will respect the player's wishes if they fail to qualify for next season’s Europa League.

There are doubts however over whether Upson will qualify for the non-English work permit required for playing at Highbury.

if he s so keen on european competition, then he d do well to stay at west ham and help to make the club a consistent top 6 finisher. he was injury ridden and struggling at birmingham. west ham took a chance him at
a time when nobody else wud, including arsenal

but usual rules. you either want to be here . or you don 't. if he doesn't,then like golf swinger ,good riddance. let s hope he wants to be here, media tripe aside.

i suggest mr upson do his bit to ensure that west ham remain in seventh then...
