West Ham Increase Striker Offer

The consensus seems to be that West Ham have increased their offer for Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh and that they are looking to sell James Collins to finance the deal.

Stoke apparently remain hopeful that they can still sign Collins but West Ham are also hopeful of a bid from Aston Villa.

The Independent report that Herita Ilunga is doubtful for the Sp~rs game after suffering a face injury against Wolves. They say that whilst Spector is favourite to step in Fabio Daprela played well in a behind closed doors friendly and is also in contention.

The paper say Radoslav Kovac also featured in the 2-1 win over a Watford side. Josh Payne and Zavon Hines were West Ham's scorers.
