Zola & Owners to Meet Tuesday

The Daily Telegraph say that Gianfranco Zola will meet with the club's owners on Tuesday to decide his future. The Telegraph seem to be indicating that the discussion will probably centre on the terms of his departure from the manager's job.

Zola is paid around £1.9 million a year and it is believed his contract guarantees a pay-off of one year's salary should he be sacked.

Zo*a's had his chance & well & truly blown it. We only stayed up because there were 3 teams worse than us. The blokes useless & his chelski mate is as bad. Let him go now before he takes us down next season. Good riddance to rubbish as far as I'm concerned.

Wernt to shabby! We only stayed up because there were 3 teams worse than us. His tactics, team selection & motivational skills are hopless. Who the fu*k builds a team around Spector! he doesn't have the balls to drop players who are clearly not performing. Exactly "what has he got"? A squad that is as good if not better than anyones below Liverpool. he brought in Diamanti & then didnt play him. The players are all on thousands a week & they couldn't performae for him dispite telling us how they loved & played for him! He's the worst manager in our history, official. He's paid 1.9mil a year! The stanadard of our football is as bad as its ever been. Opps, sorry, I forgot he's a nice man. As i said, I'm happy to see the back of him (please god)
PS its his second season, he was with us for at least 3/4 of last season. In fact he took over a team the had its best ever start to a prem season & then proceded to win only 2 of his first 13 games because he went with a 433/451 it was only when he went back to 442 that we pulled away from relegation.

agree with mick get avram grant at all costs, zola is a nice guy but that is not enough, ok 80% of the players he had to play with were no where good enough to wear the shirt but some of the stuff we played was bewiildering at times and yes the only reason we stayed up was that thier were 3 teams worse then us!!! now is a good time to put the last 18 months behind us and start the long process of re-building get rid of the second rate players and consolidate our premiership status and then who knows??

If the two Davids promised to keep their traps shut more often next season we would have a better chance of attracting a half decent manager. Glenn
