Daily Express Selling Cole & Parker
The Daily Express are selling Scott Parker and Carlton Cole. The Express are keen to offload Cole to Stoke for a reported £12 million. They also hope to sell Scott Parker to Aston Villa 'if the price is right'.
In the real world West Ham have repeatedly said that Scott Parker is not for sale.
The Express also claim that West Ham are hoping for £10m in a compensation payout for striker Dean Ashton. In another example of great reporting the Express don't report if this is from an insurance claim or a compensation claim to the FA.

The Ashton thing makes me laugh - he's got all his cash through Wright-Phillips insurance, and his insurance would cover anything WHUFC were after. He's had to fuse his foot to his leg and yet West Ham were still trying to get him to play on at one point. I know it was the previous administration, but this just strikes me as a load of baloney.
Anyway, hopefully Cole and Parker are going nowhere - both have flourished at Upton Park, and we should be building around 'em.
