Sulejmani to Join on Loan

The Mirror claims that West Ham hope to wrap up a loan bid for Ajax striker Miralem Sulejmani in the next few days.

The Sun say Winston Reid has agreed personal terms with West Ham and will sign today. The paper also claim that Alessandro Diamanti and Jonathan Spector are top of the list to be sold.

The Mail in a convoluted scenario say that West Ham have been offered Cagliari keeper Federico Marchetti if Robert Green joins Fulham. In the Mail's world it seems Cagliari have approached West Ham and said, "If Fulham goalkeeper, Mark Schwarzer, signs for Arsenal and then Fulham buy Robert Green from West Ham then you can buy our keeper."

I'll be disappointed if Diamanti goes - he looked like a really good find when he was on the pitch last season.

Did you even see him play last season? Useless.

He has something though about him - Just needs some guidance. Not a bad squad player, and we would only get 4-5 mill for him.

I say keep him for another year and see if we can make him something special.

Useless my arse. Wake up moron. In need of strong management and coaching ,which Zola was to weak to provide, yes. Useless no. Without his goals last term we wud be sitting in the Npower Championmuppetship.

As for Spector being one of top priorities to be sold, gee that's a stroke of genius. How much are we likely to get for him? 750,000? Better to keep as cover and a utility defender. We know he is not a starter ,but starters get injured ,and starters get sold the day before deadline day sometimes,so he's worth having around. Not to mention that if we had a proper pair of starting centerbacks ,Spector's peformance at fullback might improve.

But that's too much for sports journalism dimwits to understand. Dumb comquats
