West Ham Want Another Portsmouth Player

Sky are reporting that West Ham have made an approach for Portsmouth captain Marc Wilson. Sky say that West Brom have already had a £3million bid turned down for the 23-year-old defender. However Portsmouth have said that they would be powerless to prevent Wilson leaving if they received the right offer.

The Sun claim West Ham want Hamburg right-back Guy Demel.

The Daily Star, in an incredibly bizarre article, claim that West Ham must sack Avram Grant 'Now'! The main reason to sack Grant seems to be because West Ham face Manchester United and Chelsea in their next two games.

Presumably they think Avram Grant is in charge of the Premier League fixture list.

why oh why does grant continue to buy portsmouth players? they were not good enough to keep them up last year, what has changed? nothing. we are not going to improve by buying their team! TBH and Picionee (spelling) are not exactly great players! whilst i appreciate that we do not have millions to spend, we have lost out on some good players on a free due too looking at the portsmouth side! gosling, clerc etc.
Im starting to dislike grant more and more

He's been in charge for two league games. Hold your fire until teh guy has been there long enough to make a reasonable judgement mo-ron.

Some of those players were godo enough to get Portsmouth to an FA Cup final ,even with some of that team's best players having been sold in the previous transfer window.

TAKE YOUR NEGATIVITY AND PARK IT UP YOUR PROSTATE

So we should go buy players from Cardiff? After all they got to the fa cup final w
2 years ago, they must have good enough players! At the end of the day, I want grant and West Ham to succeed like any other fan, but Portsmouth ain't the place to buy players. They weren't goodenough last year and their players won't improve our team. Barrera, hiltz and obinha will.

So you say the players weren't good enough last year? Did you even attempt to see that Grant was not manager at beginning of the season and when he took over he raised the players game despite the fact that they had a huge points deduction which was the key reason for them being relegated aswell as not having the right backbone til Grant took over. Lets save the knee jerk reactions aswell hey and get behind the team despite the poor start.
