West Ham to Sue FA
ESPN are reporting that West Ham are about to serve the FA with a writ for compensation for the injury suffered by Dean Ashton whilst training for England.
The FA claim that Ashton went on to play 40 times for West Ham after his injury and therefore feel happy that they can dodge their moral duty. ESPN say the writ will be for £10.5 million. That is £8 million for insurance costs and £2.5 million for the pay-out that the club paid Ashton when he was forced to quit in December 2009.

Don't the W@@@@@s who are running this club think there is something just a tiny bit more important at the moment like keeping us in the Premiership.
The injury to Ashton could have happened at any time and yes with him in the team now I don't think we would be where we are, but I think we will be lucky to get a penny from the FA!

Don't forget the Lady Brady tells us that she works in the BUSINESS of football. It has not been a sport since Murdochs millions arrived. A £10million cheque is worth a lot of last minute winners or historic heritage. Will probably pay for Prawn Sandwich boxes at West Ham Olympic
