O'Neill and Demba Ba Set to Sign Today

Many of today's papers think that West Ham are likely to sign and register Gary O'Neil and Demba Ba by midday today, allowing both players to be in the squad for the semi-final, second leg against Birmingham.

The Telegraph claim that as well as signing winger Gary O’Neil from Middlesbrough for £1.5 million West Ham are also considering a £4.5 million move for Stoke City striker Tuncay Sanli. The paper suggest that any move for Tuncay depends on West Ham's success, or non-success, in signing Robbie Keane.

The Mirror say West Ham still want El Hadji Diouf from Blackburn.

Sky Italia report that Valon Behrami has arrived in Florence and could sign for Fiorentina today.

Good. A striker who may actually close the oppsition down and try to win the ball when we lose possession . A striker who won't walk around aimlessly failing to track back. A striker who will put his chances away. A striker who won't lash out at Barnsley and Birmingham playersin Cup games for no reason at all. And a striker with enough common sense to not celebrate a goal before the game is even won, thereby getting himself sent off and blowing two points. And a stiker who maybe won't sulk if a teammate's pass goes astray. And a striker who maybe will have the balls to categorically rule out rumored moves to the likes of Villa,

BECAUSE HE ACTUALLY WANTS TO PLAY FOR WEST HAM
