Flogging a Dead Horse

The Londonist are reporting today that Westfield Stratford are thinking of buying the naming rights of the Olympic Stadium for around £20m once West Ham move in (althougb I'm pretty sure that this is old news).

However it will never happen if Sp#rs have their way. The North London dead horse floggers today said that they had,

"... applied to the High Court to renew its application for permission to bring a claim against the London Borough of Newham and the Olympic Park Legacy Company, the Mayor of London and Government Ministers for judicial review."

This latest action ignores the advice of the judge in their recent judicial review who said that Tottenham's case was a matter of 'legal ingenuity over substance'. It does seem that Sp#rs are listening to their lawyers rather than to common sense.

They have already had to pay Newham Council’s costs in the recent judicial review and it seems that they are setting themselves up for further legal bills and potential costs.

Wouldn't be surprised if Westfield didn't buy West Ham and call us Westfield Kangaroos or similar. Not sure if I dreamt that or read it somewhere as being the Gold/Sullivan masterplan all along. The Oldtimers is really kicking in nowadays.

If West Ham do get turfed out and Sp**s get the stadium, will Orient then have to start all over again as using their argument Sp**s will also steal all their supporters and kill Orient.

It is laughable that Spurs deem fir to be spend hundreds of thousands of pounds on legal and court costs rather than on player transfers and wages.

Spurs fans don't want to move to Stratford(why would they?) . So why are the inept, braindead ownership of Spurs carrying on with this?

This is exactly why a player like Modric would want to leave . Why would he want to be involved with an ownership that operates this way? A club with real ambition would not waste time, money and goodwill in the way that Spurs' owners are with this. It is beyong pathetic. It is inept management in the extreme. Perhaps they have been taking lessons from the Icelandics
