Diop Plays in West Ham Development Squad

A West Ham 'Development Squad' are currently playing at Little Heath against Brentford. The team includes Papa Bouba Diop.

Diop is currently a free agent and it seems likely that he is being lined up as a replacement for Scott Parker, if Parker gets his requested transfer.

Nouble, Faye and Sears are also playing in the game.

Great career move Scott- taking a pay cut to join a team that sits in 20th place and cannot even keep hold of quality players like Modric. Real ambition that...

Give the lad a break, he has been one of the only players to give everything game in game out the last 4 years. He deserves a move. Good luck scott

Deserving a move doesn't invol;ve going through the motions in August when he's on 65k a week. Nor shoild it involve trying to force the club to sell him at below market value by putting in a transfer request. England career my arse- Cappello has not stopped picking him,nor wud he. He may be "entitled" to a move ,but the club is also "entitled" to receive fair compensation. It is totally unacceptable for Parker and Levy to expect West Ham to let him go for peanuts when a player like Fabregas just fetched 35 million. Spurs shud not be quibbling over a fee of 7 million for a player of Parker's stature.

"Game in and game out?" How many games did he play in his first two years at the club? How many games did he play at the back end of last season when he found time to play for England and aggravate an injury?

Luck isn't wished for . It's earned. By doing the right thing .

i totally agree with 841. I love Scotty, but at the end of the season last year when we needed him most he was sitting in the stands, he made up his mind then that he wanted out. I'd like to see him stay and decide to play with the same with the same passion he did most of the season last year but it looks like thats not going to happen, which is just pretty sad.
