Neill Out For Two Weeks

Lucas Neill will be out of action for around two to three weeks. Head Physiotherapist Steve Allen says,

"Lucas suffered an inversion sprain to his right ankle. Following MRI scans on Sunday, his estimated recovery time is two to three weeks, but we are hopeful that he could be back sooner."

The good news is that Yossi Benayoun was passed fit for tomorrow night's Premiership clash against Liverpool and Carlos Tevez has also made a return to training after recovering from a calf injury.

Meanwhile, Alan Curbishley has revealed that West Ham have not made a bid for Darren Bent.
