The Sun claim that Reo-Coker has been told by West Ham that tomorrow is the deadline for sorting out his future. If he wants to leave then he must hand in a transfer request which means he will have to forgo £500,000. Asking to go would cost him that sum plus any loyalty bonuses due. If he is sold without requesting a transfer he receives the half-million pounds.

The Sun also say that Alexei Smertin will join West Ham for a small fee later this week.
